Homecoming

This week is homecoming week with all its rituals and goofy traditions. Write (at least 6 sentences) about either:
1) your favorite tradition and why tradition and routine is important to kids OR 2) whether or not homecoming disrupts or adds to the ability of high school students to get the most out of their learning and education. Your comments will be public UNLESS you add a note asking them to be private.

It's fall and it's mentoring time again!

Wrapping Things Up!

Let's make sure everyone has photos of themselves with their kids. The camera will be with Mrs. Sprague - please get the photos and leave them on the card for me. Alternatively you can take the photos with your own camera and email them to me to be printed. Even though some of you don't usually mentor on Thursday, you should probably head over to at least get a photo.

Everyone needs to take the end of the year survey. This is due Friday. It's posted on the blog (next post down.)

VH &SL: The chex mix needs to be bagged and the whole shebang needs to get shipped. Thursday might be a good day to do this!

I'm leaving a box to cover for the time capsule, and sheets of everyone's logs from the year. You can start cutting them up and choosing the ones you want to use to cover the entire box. Everyone should probably pick 10-15, of their own, or from former classmates.You can also use photos or collage items cut from magazines.

I will see everyone back in the regular meeting spot Tuesday morning! Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend.

April 28 Assignments

Courtney, Lacey & Derek: Research & print items for the Mountain View Manor poster. Mentor 11:25-12.
Saribeth & Veda: Finish the chex mix. Ingredients should still be in the special ed kitchen.

3rd period: We have a class in Japan! They are grade 3, which is age 15. Please write a letter about yourself and email to me. You can get your mentee involved also. Mentor @ 10:30.
